Chakras are the seven energy centers of the body that run along the spine. They are part of the subtle body system. The first chakra, called the Muladhara or Root chakra, is located at the base of the spine and connects you to a sense of safety, security, and the ability to be  fearless -- even in the face of fear. When your first chakra is open and balanced, you feel grounded. 

The First Chakra Experience is a 7-day program you can do in as little as 15 minutes each day. The program will help you understand and connect to your first chakra and teach you how to manage its energy.  

When you sign up, you will receive: 

  • A  welcome video discussing what the chakras are, how they impact you, and the specific practices you will be doing for the week
  • A daily 15-minute practice video consisting of pranayama (breath) practice, one mantra practice,  one kriya, and silent meditation 
  • A daily email with inspiration and additional information on the first chakra
  • A bonus video to try during the week
  • Email support from me during the program

Consistency is the key to opening and balancing the first chakra, so you will be doing the same practice with me every day via video. My hope is that you will walk away with practices that you can incorporate into your daily life to shift your energy and connect you to a place of stability and confidence.

These practices specifically target the first chakra and come from the tantra tradition of yoga and more specifically the Sattva Yoga tradition - developed by Anand Mehrotra who teaches all over the world, but lives in Rishikesh, India.  Sattva Yoga uses tools such as pranayama, mantra, kriya, and asana to help you master your energy and raise your vibration.
