The practices of yoga and meditation are so powerful and healing on all levels - mind, body, and spirit. In the first session I will talk to you about your needs and from there I will pull from the tools of Asana, pranayama, kriya, meditation and mantra to develop a practice just for you (*go to botom of the page for definitions of these terms and benefits - links to reserach as well).
Your OM Time Privates are great if:
- You are undergoing a transition in your life, feeling stuck, overstressed or know you want to make a change, but not sure where to start.
- You want to learn to meditate or develop a consistent practice and need support and guidance.
- You are newer to yoga and intimidated about going to a studio and want to learn the basics.
- You want to deepen your yoga practice, take it beyond the asana, or develop a home practice (Sadhnana)
- You have something specific you are wanting to heal through the tools of yoga.
In addition to the specific tools of yoga I may bring in yogic wisdom such as the chakras and the 8 limb path as a way to understand how yoga as a lifestyle can create more ease and joy in your relationship to self and other.
I am so excited to work with you and would love to talk to you more - please reach out for a consultation or questions.
There are also Skype Sessions Available! Find out more by contacting me at the button above.
For New Students:
If you have always wanted to try yoga and are feeling a bit intimidated about going to a studio, this is a place to begin. During our sessions, we will go over yoga postures, breath work and you will receive the foundation you need to feel confident about walking into a studio to take a group class. I can also work with you to develop an individualized program that we can do during the sessions or one that you can take home with you to practice on your own.
For Experienced Yogis:
If you have ben practicing awhile and are ready to take your practice to the next level, these sessions are for you. We will still practice asana, but the main focus will be on bringing in other powerful yogic practices that go beyond the physical body to the subtle body. These practices include pranayama (breath work), Kriya (energetic work), meditation, mantra and laya movement. We can also use the sessions to discuss the 8 limbs, the chakra system and various other wisdom that has been passed down by the yoga masters.
Learn Meditation/Start a Morning Sadhana:
A daily meditation or morning practice (Sadhana) is one of the most healing and powerful things you can do for yourself. When you create space to sit with yourself in silence you are sending the universe the message that you matter, that you are important and that you are deserving! Sitting in medtiation can be challenging initially, but eventually it becomes a sacred space where you can soften, listen and tap into your truth. Morning practice is also a great way to align to what you want to create in your life - there are practices for grounding, peace, abundance, empowerment etc. Where you put your attention matters!!! When you focus your attention on what you want to create, you will begin to create that! Most of us are very busy in life and our attention is pulled in many different directions. Morning Sadhana gives you the opportunity to create a ritual that will direct your attention every day to what you want to create. Schedule a consult to learn more about simple, powerful practices that can transform your life!
